Term 3 Begins!!

Hi everyone,

I hope you have had a good holiday. It was a bit on the wet side. My kids watched enough movies to last them till next holidays!

The fields will be closed for a while. The weather report is for more rain this week too ☂

We have a lot going on in B4 for the first few weeks. Our production rehearsals will be in full swing every day in readiness for our performances in Week 3.

(Performance times: Wednesday afternoon from 1.30 and Thursday morning from 9.30)

We have our 100th day of school coming up this Friday. We will be doing some maths, art and writing based around this, culminating in bit of a party on Friday.

You will see our calendar art hanging in the classroom now. Some students are still to complete this - I can't wait to see their work hanging next to the others'.

I have just realised that I haven't returned Robert's Peaches and Pickles form for Passion Fridays this term! 😵  I have found the link to do it online:

Also coming up is a road trip (Monday, Week 3) with our whole community. Our new inquiry topic is 'Movement' (of people). We will be looking at the movement of people into our area in the past and now. There will be more details coming out about this soon. We will be needing extra help on the day, if you have some time to spare.

I asked for students to find a smooth rock that fitted into their palm over the holidays. I have a few things planned for this rock! We won't have time to do to much this coming week. But if the children can start bringing in their rocks that would be great.

See you tomorrow!

Kind regards,
Nicola
